MPS brings a new type of anode technology into the Martyr anode mix with their Maddox anodes. The Maddox anode is lower voltage than Zinc and Aluminum anodes, meaning it is more efficient at protecting particular vessels and metals.

INNOVATIVE COMPOSITE ALLOY ANODE TECHNOLOGY
The Maddox anode is a low-voltage sacrificial anode, specifically designed to effectively protect bronze and stainless steel parts on fibreglass and wooden vessels. By creating a more neutral environment around the metal being protected, protective coatings are maintained, marine growth is minimized and timber boats at less risk of alkaline degradation.
There are limitations to the use of Maddox anodes, specifically when it comes to vessel composition or types of metal that require protection. The Martyr Anodes range offsets this with their Zinc, Aluminium, and Magnesium anodes.
